The way things have gone lately, I’m beginning to think we should be posting at that other site. By now you’ve read about Halloween. Yeah. Good times. But we are busy and resilient types, inclined to pick up and continue on. In that spirit, CV, MBG, and I made our way to the Halloween store at Cleveland Park, motivated by the need for costumes for a soiree this weekend and enticed by a post-holiday 50%-off sale.

Halloween has never been good to me. In fact, among major holidays, it may be my least favorite. I think this may be a jealousy thing - every year I see costumes and think ’shit, that’s clever, why didn’t I do that?’ I’m no fan of Halloween because I never have good costumes, like, ever. For reasons unknown to me, the server we’re on was down for a day. Apparently we got 2 free months hosting out of it, but it did leave me unable to post my Halloween story for a good 36 hours after it was written, which pretty much kills me. Damn you, Halloween!
