Road trip list #3 November 12
Admittedly, I’m the curious one peeking over your shoulder to investigate your reading habits, and it appears to me that DC-ers are indeed readers, but what are they reading and where are they reading it?
Recently I’ve noticed more than the usual number of religious-themed books on the Metro, and not just the Dan Vinci Code Brown. Not my cup o’ tea, but I’ve been reading comics on the Metro recently so I won’t judge as long as we both agree that we like children’s stories.
For me, perhaps Alan Moore’s Watchmen will be next, but sometimes what you read might not be as interesting as where you read it. Reading on the Metro is certainly appropriate, but there are places one probably shouldn’t read a book, and collected here are a few of those places.
Where not to read a book:
1) While using a urinal
2) At a funeral
3) While skydiving
4) Under a waterfall
5) On the Titanic
6) While riding a horse
7) While reading another book
8) During surgery
9) Kentucky
10) When flossing
11) In a Florida classroom during 9/11
12) Eating ribs
13) While playing anus elbows
Matthew Barney Gumble Nov 13
What about before the Titanic was sinking?
Champion Phallus Nov 13
Oh, how I miss the anus elbows.. My fire done been reignited!!
Meatball Surgery Nov 14
On sinking ships in general, I think, would be a bad place to read a book, but whatever floats your boat man.
