Day five

Oh man, not so much to report today. I slept in, as it’s Saturday, and laid around most of the day, so only had 6 servings of the lemonade. Got the juicer up and running today, and let me say, it is fucking incredible. It’s also moving here with the new roommate (who, btw, how do you not have a blog name yet? Let’s ponder this.) and I can’t wait to be done with this so I can see what it does to, oh, fucking everything. I was convinced it was wasting lemons, since it was going through it so fast. I thought I was going to look in the back, where it was discarding the chaff, and find still-juicy bits of lemon. Not by a long shot - in fact, all that was left back there was some weird white lemon dust. It was weirdly fluffy, actually, and like completely devoid of moisture. It’s an incredible machine. I’m really excited to see it do carrots - it has to be fucking crazy. In case you’re wondering, it’s made by Breville.

Because I don’t think it’s really worth a separate post, we went to the Long Blondes tonight, almost exactly one year since we last saw them. They were basically half as good. The new album has maybe two good songs on it? But the material off the first album is still killer. Kate looked slightly hotter, but was less energetic, I felt. Also, the bassist is completely disinterested, while the keyboardist/second guitarist is not, and is also hotter. And yet they hid her (the hotter one) behind the amps where we couldn’t see her very often. Poor stage layout. Still, very fun show.

Oh yeah, weight is at 355, says the scale. “Whatever,” I tell the scale, flipping it off. Skipped my evening phantom poop tonight, wondering how that will affect the morning discharge. I can’t believe I was worried about pooping my pants earlier. This is totally not that hard.
